How to Spring clean your blog

It's officially Spring now so that means that everything is looking fresh and new. Flowers are starting to bloom and (hopefully) the sun is shining and the weather is getting warmer. Whenever this hits, we always just want to throw open the windows and rid ourselves of the stuffiness of winter and so we begin our spring cleaning to give our homes the same kind of fresh feel. Something that is also great to do is giving your blog the same kind of treatment. Let's not forget that the longer you have been blogging for, the more posts you have piling up from back in the day which you now think are completely cringe worthy. Make your blog something that you're proud of from beginning to end!

Out with the old, in with the new
It's always really important to have a read through all of your old blog posts. I find that it is actually really inspiring because it's like a memory journal of what certain aspects of your life used to be like, how you have changed and it reminds you of some of the things that used to be important matters for you. Sometimes you read through the old posts and realise that they don't quite fit the blogging style that you now have...so they either get reverted to a draft or deleted. Some posts I like to look at and give them a bit of an edit so they are more relevant and a bit more fresh-faced. All of this makes way for the brand new content you have planned your blog!

Planning
One of the best things about planning is seeing all of the new possibilities that are within your reach. For me, spring is the perfect time for fresh starts and realising these new ventures in life. So whether it's for your personal life or your blog, planning what the next few months will hold for you is super motivating! Nothing better to get your mojo on!

Fresh, fun & exciting
Think back to that feeling you had last time you decided to get creative and gave something a makeover (and loved it), or you tried out a new activity that you ended up loving. I love changing the theme on my blog every now and then because it makes me feel super motivated when I click on my blog and see something that I just feel so proud of. There is no better way to get me to fill my blog with content. Why not change your blog theme up a little, add pictures, a new bio or even go all out with a whole new theme!
