V Festival prep kit!

Music festivals can be both one of the greatest things ever and one of the worst, if you're really not prepared for everything. This year I will finally be going to V Festival with Emily and her bf and I'm really excited to go. As a certified champion of worrying, there have been so many scenarios that have gone through my head that I thought i needed to be prepared for. Whether it's fears over the portaloo *inward cringe at the thought* or mud puddles around your tent, I've got you covered!

  1. Dry shampoo- if you're camping then you will live by this as there probably wont be much of a chance to wash your hair!
  2. Baby wipes and hand gel because lets face it...you're gonna get dirty and those portable toilets won't be the cleanest
  3. Tissues- you never know if the portable toilet will have toilet paper so don't get caught without some!
  4. Portable phone charger- so that you can keep in touch with everyone you arrived with, get the best pictures and be able to check in with your ride home.
  5. Plasters- sounds a little silly but you never know when you might need them...blister plasters are a good idea too in case your wellies/boots rub!
  6. Wellies- because unless flat shoes are a no-no, no matter how cute they might look!
  7. Raincoat- lets face it, we are pretty likely to be caught out in the rain, especially for campers so make sure you have a way to keep yourself dry!
  8. Sunglasses- if we are lucky enough to get some sun then don't forget some shades so that you don't miss anything!
  9. Tent tips- don't put it too close to the path or everyone will be walking past no matter what the hour. Also make sure you're not at the bottom of sloped land otherwise you'll soon be on boggy round if it rains...and its Britain so it's pretty much guaranteed!
  10. Yoga mat- for those of you staying in a tent then putting a yoga mat down under your sleeping bag can make the ground comfier and its not heavy so wont weigh you down!
  11. Sun cream- you don't want to be caught with some unexpected strong rays and be sore for the rest of the time you're there.
I hope everyone who goes to the festival has a great time and gets home safely!
